I got my first batch at King's Road. I think the community is called Furrs. It's just outside of Tupelo but located in Pontotoc County I think.
They mentioned selling some closer to me so I stopped by that store today and bought a sack of big ones, and boy are they delicious. Did you find out what variety they are? The guy at the stand, not the greenhouse, said they were called Geronimo. I've never heard of those.

Yes They are Geronimo he was correct. I've been getting them from 3-eagle for a while now. It's right in my way home from work. We buy a lot from there. I myself could never wrap my mind around what it would take to grow plants like they do, but it's neat to see it working for them. If I get to Tupelo early enough Saturday I'm going to stop in there. Looks like I am delayed in getting home, but I'm still holding out hope that I will get in semi early so I can spend the time I need to in Tupelo. If I can't make it over there this weekend maybe I can squeeze in getting there sometime this year! Woo.... I have a full calendar right now. |
