C-TEX SOUTHERN HEAT SET (V,F2,TSWV)
Saw These at Southwest Fertilizer yesterday. What can be said about them? Are they another Amelia?

Is that JD's Special C-Tex? Also, didn't JD pass away?

I dont believe it is JD's Special C-Tex. I think it is a hybrid

C-Tex Southern Heat Set is one of two varieties developed by J.D. Whittaker in Conroe, TX. I believe it is a hybrid. I've never grown it.

From what I was reading it is a red? tomato and it is a hybrid

It's a red. Of course the key aspect is its TSWV tolerance. Not that this is an issue in Houston or Austin.
