High yielding/ very good flavour, indeterminate?
What are the best yielding indeterminate tomatoes that also taste very good?
Please list your top 3 if you feel like.... the more the better for me to investigate |

Kosovo, a large, solid pink heart. Always my earliest and most productive, and delicious as well.

There was a similar thread in 2016 about heirlooms specifically. My results are in post #25 and are all top taste favorites for me but Terhune and Barlow Jap would be #1 & 2 from that list.

Do you have much of a collection of seed Master Shake? A lot of varieties you will get mentioned on here are not readily available Down Under. Think about what you like in a tomato, have a look at what is available here and have a look at my Garden of Woz thread on here for what I have grown. I have kept seed of most of what I have listed plus I have more than what I have listed. Like most keen growers, I have more than I need and would be happy to send you some.

Half a world away, the most consistent producer, here, is Kellogg's Breakfast.
It averages 30+ tomatoes, 30+ pounds in good weather conditions. The added bonus is that the flavor is above "very good". |

Cherokee Carbon was a very high yielding and great tasting variety I grew for the first time last year. Early Girl is also a delicious variety that has high yield and I have grown for many years.

Indian Stripe PL. It's the one that's been with me the longest - every year. It matures at 62 days in my greenhouse, and just keeps producing great tasting fruit all season long. Even the hottest days, when the temps in the greenhouse are well over 90F, don't stop it from setting fruit.

Try Dotson's Lebanese Heart or Omar's Lebanese (a heart and a beefsteak of the same thing). Good taste, large pink, good producer, seems disease resistant/tolerant here.

"There's fifty-nine hundred and sixty-four guitar pickers in Nashville" to coin a phrase from my youth and that many tomatoes to fit your bill. I've only grown around 500 varieties but to name three will be pulling something out of the hat. The already named above I second and add Marianna's Peace, Butter and Bull Heart and Cuostralee. My favorites include blacks and hearts no matter the production.

I have Carbon and Cherokee Purple growing now, and am about to plant some new seedlings.
I will have to see where to get the Indian Stripe PL and Polaris sometime.... i found Indian Stripe but not the PL one. Thanks again for suggestions. |
