BigDaddyJ, those don't look like Brandywines to me either.

They certainly are Brandywines. Sudduth Brandywine from Johnny's marked 2006. I have been growing Brandywine for about 15 years. About 7 years ago I started growing only the Sudduth strain.
They are definitely pink if you were to see them in person. The lighting in the room I took the picture with shows a reddish color which is not representative. Study closely only the size and shape as looked at from above. Sorry I have no other pic from the sides then you would see that classic Brandywine gravy boat shape on many. They come gravy boat, rounded and ribbed. They aren't always the prettiest girls at the party but they are the one you want to marry... I will try and get a pic of a plant or two outside and post it here. I picked about 6 more this morning. I have 5 p[lants growing in a row and they have only a tiny amount of disease at the very bottom. The plants grew up about 8 feet tall in my Texas cages and are now vining back down again in spots.

BW Sudduths in this mix(6 to the left). I will grow again. And single staking definately did not work out, although this BW seemed to be prolific I could not control it and work my job in ALaska. You can see what it wanted to do..
