Very productive, but possibly due to the climate and soil differences, I didn't find it on the sweet side at all. Zippy, tangy flavor, but don't let them over-ripe, as the flavor goes south...

It was great in salads, and very pretty fruit clusters.

Thanks to all who weighed in on AAA...I think I'm looking for reasons to drop things from the lineup because there are too many on the list...and now I have a lot of reasons to drop these.

Great photo, D, and they are very pretty, but it's not making me want to grow it 'cause I just don't care for zippy or tangy or salad-size or empty locules or tomatoes that are picky about when they need to be picked. So I think I'll maybe find out if I really like it some other time.

Black and Brown Boar had that kind of zippy, not particularly
sweet flavor for me. Brad's Black Heart, on the other hand,
has a flavor that reminds me a lot of Black Krim or Cherokee
Chocolate (those are not the same, but they are fairly close
in flavor in my garden).

That's it Zippy! Most of Brads are sweet,tart, full of juice I could not think of a word to describe them? But Zippy is perfect
Yesterday on the PBS cooking shows Todd English was in Thailand, he was taking about there food its hot,sweet, sour, tart. Finnaly he said now i know why l love this food, these are my favorites. DUH what is the left the great taste of TV dinners? His restaurants which i think started here in Boston are doing terrible i read in the newspapers, 1 burned down not to be rebuilt, and another closing.To bad, his books are so nice, and his cooking is still great. So glad he never went over to the Food Network which is doing terrible now. I have not watched 1 show there in over 6 months.

Got some Sweet Carneros Pink, AAA Sweet Solano and Pink Berkeley Tie Dye seeds from WBF today. Can't wait to start germinating varieties tomorrow.

I have some Haley's Purple Comet and Michael Pollan seeds that I didn't plant from last year as well. Definitely going to germinate them this time.

I'll report on them as the season progresses.
