Spatz, as far as I'm aware, eden's don't do email. Ringing them is easy, but the cost of a phone call.
Lynlyn, We live in Zone 7-8, so we only just planted the seeds in the heat house. They should be up in a day or so, and then it's a month or more before the frosts stop long enough to plant out.
But it will be good to compare, I have high hopes. All the hype sounds good.

Default Grub's Mystery Green

Hi Grub, I got seeds for Grub's Mystery Green from Bruce in California. After a season of crazy weather, have harvested my first 2. Delicious! Another happy customer. Do they get quite yellow? The skin is very yellow with some green streaking. Whatever, this is on my grow forever list. Hope all of you have a fabulous growing season.

Hi Tessa
I'm in Melbourne and it's a beauuuuuuuutiful day!
I know we all would love some rain over here at the moment but I cannot feel bad about such a glorious day and I'm going to make the most of it. I'm out on the deck potting up my babies. It doesn't get much better than this

Grub - It's surprising just how quick they grow when you're not looking. I threw my first setting out and started again because they went leggy, but mine are enjoying the great Melbourne weather we're having today which will kick them on no end.

Hi Tessa. I'm in Armidale, Northern Tablelands, NSW.
Just coming into growing season nowish.
All clay, no sand, unlike WA. Hope all's well.

Mary,
Glad you are enjoying GMG. The skin does go very amber when it's nice and ripe, so you have the bomb by the sounds of it. I like the complex taste too.

McSee,
You are right about how quickly they come on... but I think I will just bury them really deep. I think my bathroom floor was too warm. I will report back on my success.

Palerider,
Trust a potter to live in clay country... are you still making your wonderful creations?

Great news about all the tomato action. Gotta love a good matey thread.

Cheers, Grub, who has more weeds this year than any other year due to great rains and ongoing showery activity.

hey palerider...my brain is suddenly synapsing and i'm thinking maybe you like okra. is that you? g'day!

lynlyn...would part of what's making today such a glorious day in melbourne be hawthorn's amazing win?
if not...well...the weather's amazing, i hear.

and g'day mcsee, nice to 'see' ya.

well...my maters are still all no-shows.
far be it from me to grow impatient...
but i'm growing impatient!
i was away on a longish holiday until the last week of august so am a little behind the 8 ball...but with the extended season in perth (all year long for one certain tomato machine about to celebrate it's 3rd birthday) i should at least be in with a chance to make a good showing this year.

the excitement just continues to build.

My shoe rack produced too many leggy seedlings. Never again! Spread them out, I say!

Gorgeous spring day here. Seedlings are growing. Weeds are thriving. Good to hear you all are enjoying this superb spring day. I'm hoping for showers now. a) we need rain, b) I need a rest.

Hi Spatz,
We are "expecting rain" for most of the coming week. Whether the weather men can get it right is another thing.

The sunshine has been terrific here today, which is good for the tomatoes. 8)

McSee... rain... what a great time to get that, eh. We have had showers for days and the plants are outta control... never seed such greenery... mainly all weeds... but overwintered chillies, capsicums and eggies are looking unreal.

Post some pics when there's something to brag about
Best, Grub.
