Default Cherokee Green - taste?

Is the taste of Cherokee green the same as CP, or does it have its own distinct green when ripe flavor?

Cherokee Green is a green when ripe tomato and tastes like it. Of the several GWR I have tasted, it is the most pleasing.

I have given all my GWR seeds to someone who likes them. I am a tomato snob and don't care much for the new fad flavor.

It tastges nothing like Cherokee Purple.

Craig had sent seeds of Cherokee Chocolate to Darrell Merrell and when Darrell returned some seeds what grew out for Craig was this green when ripe one which he called Cherokee Green.

The genetic origin of this and wheter it could really happen was discussed several years ago and the best tomato geneticist at the time, not me, said that it was genetically possible.

Of the maybe 15 GWRipes that I've grown, b'c I love that type, it has the best taste of all those that I've grown. I'm also high on the taste of Green Doctors, a relatively new GW Ripe cherry tomato that was a spontaneous mutation of the variety Dr. Carolyn. And no I'm not so positive about it b'c it was from the variety Dr. Carolyn, which was from Galina's Yellow, and it was named for me as one of the "doctors", I can be much more objective than that when it comes to tomato taste.

Well it sounds like I might have to find a spot for it, as I liked Green Grape, and Lime Green Salad the only two gwr tomatoes I have tried.
