Some compensation, I suppose.
This week (low 80's) will be nicer than our August weather.

I still have lot's of tomatoes this year because I planted several plants later than May 24th in the hopes of extending my tomato season.

Seems to have worked so far.

After last weeks cool snap the temps have started to come back up again.
This morning before sun up it was 76 degrees and got up into the mid 90's.
If it gets into the 100's again I am going to personally take out North Korea on my own.

Smokey was bound and determined to go outside when I got home from work.
Smokey was bound and determined to come back in out of the heat 15 minutes later.
She is in her chair getting over the trauma of the heat as we speak.

We have heated back up too. Heat index hit 102 this afternoon. Cooling back to the 70's next week. It might even work its way down to Texas.

The last days of Summer are living up to the standards. Upper 90s today and tomorrow. I saw a forecast a few minutes ago saying highs in the lower 80s next week. I hope so.

We are having pleasant weather : Highs around mid to upper 80s and lows around mid to upper 70s. But I see a 77/57F in the forecast on Oct 1st. That is still more like early July in PNW.
My fall crops are all doing great.

We have a heat advisory for tomorrow. They are calling for high 80's for the next 4 days. 90 F on Sunday.

This is 'hot' for fall in Ontario. My hot peppers, beans and tomotoes are loving this weather.

Almost getting cool enough to do some cabinet work and tidy up the shop, it needs it big time.
I just find it so difficult to work in the hot thing after coming home from working in the extreme heat of the day.
Not happy at all for my late wife giving away my window unit air conditioner without my consent or input.

Worth.

We had 20 C outdoors here today : 70 F. Normal high for this period is 15 C: 60 F.
Yes it was hot by our standards.
Honestly I am looking forward to some real fall weather. No snow, but wear a jacket and you're comfortable. Best weather for working outdoors.
As for indoors, the furnace will bring it up to the ideal temp. I turned my furnace breakers off in June and it is still off. But with the sun shining like today, it was over 70 F, frankly a little too warm.

never would have thought we would be pushing 90 degrees here at this time of year.
the last two days have been very warm. we could have used the heat in july and august.
it won't last. this time of the year, you start looking out for frost warnings. just wait.

We hit 88 today, but fall temps are getting close. High Wed is supposed to be 70 with a chance of showers. I have had some outside work to do and I have had a case of the screw-it's lately. Maybe Thurs or Fri.

I have had a whole summer of screw it.

On a side note one of my ghost pepper plants is having a baby.

70 degrees right this minute as it has been drip/drizzle raining all night . We were in the high 90's again and most likely will bounce right back there after the rain passes, but it may be nice for a couple days.
