Default Tiger Snake

This is one of the natives I would prefer not to have around the house. Tiger snakes are rated at number 4 on the toxicity scale and can be rather aggressive if cornered. Have personally had several close calls with them over the years, but no bites yet. A good anti-venin is available and has saved lives our the years. Snake was less than 30 feet from a sliding door

Default Grubs Mystery Green

The year of Grubs passing is the first time I have grown this beauty, absolutely delicious, loved by all of us and a definite keeper. The cut fruit is the larger of the two in the other photo.

Default Blueberries, Black Krimm, and Orange Grosse Lisse

The cherry tomato blueberries is another grown for the first time and was well regarded by all. The young girl wanted more than the two that I was able to give her so it will be returning.

Black Krimm and Orange Grosse Lisse are two returnees, colours are slightly off in photos, both nice tasty tomatoes. OGL is very meaty and the plant has that dwarf look about it early on. Black Krimm top photo.

Woz, I'm not sure having a snake is a good thing near the house, although probably looking for water. We too have had encounters with the Tiger Snake over the years. I hate the gosh darnoodley things.

That’s a sizable snake. Yikes.
I’ve been contemplating Grubs Mystery Green so good to hear feedback; am putting on next year’s grow list. Bloody Butcher is another one that seems to get consistently high marks.
Thanks for sharing your pictures!

Mid size as far as tigers grow, they can get up around 8 feet in length.

GMG and BB are both good to excellent tomatoes IMO and while BB may not have been as early for me as it is for some, that has more to do with me sowing the seed a month later than ideal and the injury I did to myself than the tomato

SG, I would have to rate Blueberries as one of if not the best Cherry I have eaten. No hint of antho flavour that you can get with some of the other blues, just a rich tomato flavour . Need a few more to ripen to do a proper comparison with KP and some of the other cherries I am growing this season.

Whwoz, have you noticed how big the seeds are?

Not so good for eating but great for regrowing

Default Kang Kong

Stumbled across this leafy version of a sweet potato relative at a local farm show on a demonstration plot. Was aware of it earlier, but because of its tropical origins had not considered it suitable for growing here, kids like it, young fellow in particular,. It will flower so obviously season is long enough to get a good harvest from.

Default Barry's Crazy Cherry

These delicious little lemon coloured tomatoes are starting to ripen. Plant definitely needs more space for air movement than what it has got at the moment. Mesh frame for it next season. The three to the right of the ribbon have been cut for seed.

Default Yellow Cherry and Cherry Gold

These two are similar looking yellow cherries. Yellow Cherry was probably 2 weeks earlier than Cherry Gold in ripening this year but CG is yielding about the same now. The CG in the jar are bagged fruit since cut for seed. CG are on the join in the benchtop
