Default Tomato Haiku

We took a family trip to California this summer. While we were there we drove through a town called Ukiah, which is haiku spelled backwards. They host an annual haiku festival. Our daughters thought that was pretty cool, so now we have a family haiku challenge some evenings. Tonight's theme was tomatoes. Our 12 year old daughter won tonight with this haiku:

Sliced, salsa or sauced
The essence of late summer
Garden tomatoes

A girl of my own heart
