Me, Near Corpus, and it is so hard to find a mix of compost for Mels Mix. I could buy Mels Mix bagged but they want $20 per bag for it, it's a bit Steep in my book.

yea, when you see a snake swimming w/its head up and out of the water everyone takes notice right quick. on land they do they same thing. slither along w/their heads up. killed a rattlesnake and a coral snake the other day up against the house w/in 2 hours of each other. gets interesting out here sometimes. the fools don't last long.

that and the bar b que chopped sammiches at Mikes next door. Mike found out I have a family bible dating from the early 1800s w/hand written references to the 1700s in it and she (yes mikes a she-michelle-) agreed to quit smacking me upside my head for my smart mouth if I let her examine it for a few days. she lied.

I use a miracle grow compost and manure that is good. There are less expensive ones too.
