SunGold is the only one among my seedlings that has purple leaves. Otherwise, the seedling is as healthy as any. The treatment is the same, the soil is the same. I can only imagine that some varieties are more prone to purple hues than others.

I haven’t added any mycorrhizae, although I know that is an added benefit, and as you noted, the MG doesn’t specify having any included. I fertilized (1/2 strength) with UF Vegetable fertilizer yesterday and it look like they may be responding, although somewhat slowly. Still quite purple and the leaves are cupped as mentioned. The lower leaves are yellow and they are loosing some (the very lower leaves). I have taken them out from under the lights during the day, it has been sunny here, so they are in a window during the day. I am concerned now that I don’t want to scald them, if that is possible in the house. I don’t know if glass diffuses or intensifies sunlight. Any suggestions as to how long to acclimate them?

Just a quick follow up. I fertilized with ¼ strength Urban Farms vegetable fertilizer. I have been transferring the trays to the window for 4 or 5 hours a day. The results are miraculous. The plants have responded amazingly and are thriving. Thanks for all the good advice!
