Default Slow start in Zone 6b

Just reporting in to see how others in the US midwest are doing. I'm in NE Kansas and put out my plants on May 2. It's been a bit cooler than normal and the plants are just sitting tight with maybe 2" of growth. Hoping for warmer temps and accelerating growth.

I used to use soda or juice bottles filled with water for the wall o water effect to boost the heat around plants.
Circle the plants with the bottles. Then if a drought hits later, the water is right there to use.
