Cecilia -
I've had problems with Black Cherry for 2 years now ... Def. a "toughy" to germinate. However, after finding a good source, I'll have plenty of fresh seed after this season as I have 4 plants! ~ Tom

Tom,
Those seeds were probably meant for you last year :-) I found the stamped envelope in a winter coat. Greg |

Here is my list for 2008. Being so busy with school I didn't start my seeds until the 25th! A few trips to nursery's and I made have to add a few to the list! I have August 16th on my calendar. I agree that later in the day would be preferable on my end.

Anyone remember who gave me the Mikado tomato seeds? My question is are they the white or pink Mikado?

I repotted my poor lonely Black Cherry plant into a yogurt container yesterday. And guess what - NONE of my Paul Robesons have germinated! There's a little weed that looks like lambs' quarters coming up in one of the pots, but no P.R.s

I had a row of about 25 Black Cherry plants in 16oz cups that I had put on the railing of my deck. I wanted to water them and let them drain with out getting the whole deck wet.
Well... My two year old son Dominic starts playing a game of running out onto the deck and back into the house. Luanne goes out to see what he's up too. Turns out that he pushed each and every plant over the side of the deck. I took him out and had him help me fix the problem. I lost about half of them. He promises not to do it again :-) Greg |

Feel your pain...Sunday my just-turned-two year old daughter wanted to look at seed tray--had about 10-12 seeds that were just coming out. Phone rang I took the call. Came back and found she has pulled them all out...wanted to help and give them to me. I reseeded...but lost a couple of varities I only had a few seeds for We also had a little talk...
