Default herbs in your salad

What additions have you put in your salads this year?

We are loving the salad burnet (which has seeded everywhere, and I did find the original tag finally.

Have been using parsley, borage flowers, day lily flowers, chives, beet greens, lambs lettuce, and purslane.

Burpee Bibb was the only type of 4 that came up this year, and Im going to try Tree lettuce from Medbury in the fall!

I grow the Lettuce Leaf basil and that's really good in a salad. Some leaves are larger than my hand. And it makes great pesto!

I like sprigs of dill and fennel in the salad as well, along with nasturtium blossoms and leaves. My salad burnet has not overwintered here and it never grows very large.
