I could snag some seed, if you'd like. Let me know.

Many of the varieties I have, come from seed swaps, so I know that I can get some wrong seeds. Two varieties I really wanted to try were Kosovo and Wes. I think and I hope I got the wrong seeds. They both look weird and taste awful.
Last season I had Rebecca Sebastian Bullbag seedlings with PL instead of RL, so I decided not to transplant any and threw the seeds away.
This season I had only one plant of Margaret Curtain. I was expecting high yelds of dark purple/green tomatoes, but I only got two tasteless red tomatoes the size of a golf ball.
For the taste in the past I was kind of disappointed when I ate Donskoi, Thessaloniki, Vorlon, Armenian, Blue Beauty and GGWT (these last three at least look beautiful).

There is a thread, that I can't find right now, in which people discussed how Lithium Sunset should look like. I think Fred Hempel told that real Lithium Sunset is more on the yellow and suggested that the red fleshed variant be named something else, like Red Lithium.
I guess I have the Red one (try to spot them in the basket). However the taste was very good, one of the best striped tomatoes I've eaten so far.

A lot of us here on Tomatoville received the mislabeled 'Lithium Sunset'.

This red w/yellow striped tomato is clearly different from Lithium Sunset... it actually appears to most closely resemble 'Solar Flare' (which I have grown before).

Seed mix-ups unfortunately do happen.

Garden peach from Agway was some red tomato instead of yellow with fuzz.

Lithium Sunset doesn't look like Solar Flare to me.

The Boxcar Willie seeds I bought this year have to have been something else. I've never grown it before and decided to try it just for the silly name. Yeah, stupid reason but I digress. The tomatoes were just a little bigger than a cherry tomato, smaller than a saladette but not the 10-12 oz fruit most descriptions say.

The plant itself was regular leafed and indeterminate. Tomato taste was OK. Disappointed.

You're correct - they don't like anything like one another. That was my point.

A number of us here on Tomatoville accidentally received mislabeled seeds. We were supposed to get Lithium Sunset, but instead got a red with yellow striped, globe-shaped tomato that appears to most closely resemble Solar Flare.

To add to the confusion, my Lithium Sunset plant has been producing tomatoes that look like both Lithium Sunset and Solar Flare (only a couple of these).

I won't be sharing seeds of the wrong Lithium Sunset for evident reasons. However I also think that this tomato doesn't look like Solar Flare (which in my opinion resembles a bigger Tigerella).
This is something else and we have no clou what it is. We should just forget about it.

Tormato- I think I may be the guilty sharer of the crossed Japanese Pink Cherry Seeds from last years MMMM. I grew several plants and friends did as well. All of theirs were true to type but one of mine also produced that same yellow cherry you spoke of. I did find it delicious and quite different from most yellow cherries. It was really very similar tastewise to the true Pink Japanese Cherry that I love. I am going to grow both next year. Sorry for the cross!

Default PL orange strawberry with clear epi

I mentioned previously that I have an abnormal Orange strawberry plant.

I harvested some tomatoes and compared with my other regular orange strawberry. My regular orange strawberry has yellow epidermis, regular leaves and tangerine orange flesh. My abnormal plant also has tangerine orange flesh and similar fruit shape, but with clear epidermis and potato leaves.

I'll keep seeds from the PL-clear epi plant and see what happens next year !

Well, I'm not sorry. It was one of the best cherries I ever trialed.
I just hope it can be stabilized with that flavor.

Glad to hear that! Let's both grow it next year and try for a truly good yellow cherry. Let the fun begin.
