Great camera & macro pictures, you'll even be able to photograph the critters sucking the life juices from your tomato stems.

These are cool! Do you have a macro lens? I have a Canon - not as high quality as yours - and I sometimes have trouble getting my camera to focus that close up.

Very nice, thanks. I tried to take close ups of bees pollinating last year but my camera couldn't handle it, I get funny looks from the neighbors photographing vegetable plants in the garden

What I find cool is that each of those hairs (trichomes) are a single cell that has grown outwards.

I have a basic $100 digital camera, but it takes ok macro photos and, at full screen size, I often spot things that I hadn't noticed IRL. So I've learned to take a photo if I want to see something more.

I wonder how much more I'd have to spend to get great photos like Jeff's!!
