First I have a warning do not start using chili arbol if you have a limited supply.
Today I fried up yet another batch of chicken wings but different than the last batch. I will explain that later. What I did was use cayenne pepper instead of chili arbol. It is hot tasteless garbage, I had to add chili arbol to get what I wanted. Do not spoil yourself and then run out. Extra super crispy spicy chicken wings with fry bread and more fixens. Extra super crispy spicy chicken wings.
1 egg. About 2 cups of milk. Flour seasoned with garlic powder salt and black pepper. Clean and washed chicken wings or any other meat. Make an egg wash with the milk and egg. Run the meat through the egg wash in the flour back in the egg wash back in the flour and fry at about 350 F oil at least a little over half way up the side of the chicken until golden to light brown. Put on paper towels and sprinkle with hot pepper powder of your choice. The fry bread is good but I dont like bread and it is for the crows. I dont like to waste things so I just added more flour and added it to the egg wash with a teaspoon of baking powder and fried it for the critters. The cast iron lid you see above comes from an old cast iron kettle I have.
It was given to me years ago and has been sitting around doing nothing. It and the bottom were so caked in old grease and crust you would get filthy just being around it. To get the lid off the kettle I had to use a chisel and hammer. It was glued on by old grease that had dried and turned to glue. This lid and the kettle not in the pictuer have been sitting outside with oven cleaner on them for days. If I could have started a big fire it would have been easy but I couldn't. The lid is about ready it is now boiling in acid. Worth |

It looks awesome now. Make something great in it. Something old fashioned. From your childhood. What you did not make for years. Something your mom used to make. ahhh...

The other night I was thinking of something I haven't had in years and it is the first thing I ever learned to bake when I was in the third grade. Chocolate muffins. These I added chocolate chips a table spoon of coffee grounds and I used a fancy Red Dutched cocoa powder it is called cocoa rouge. I don't always make sweets but when I do. The smell is killing me.
