Never heard of the bean recipe, are you spicing the beans, or drying the peppers? |

I'm not a hot pepper lover but always grow a few to mix into dried powder batches, plus they are the best looking ornamentals. When saving seed, membranes and inside parts go down the kitchen sink. After several peppers are cleaned, and the sink and hands are rinsed, when water hits the drain the fumes that come up are deadly. I don't ever seem to learn just how potent these peppers are. Many hours after cleaning and several hand washings I might decide to put my contacts in or touch this, that or the other. I think this might be a good definition of pain. Anyone else have any horror stories about hot pepper hell.

I picked a few peppers today, some for seeds and some for pepper jelly and hot chow chow.
I don't know what the top left is, I can't remember what I planted and didn't write it down either. Top right came from Moruga scorpion seeds, they should be red so it's a mystery too. The others are Tabasco and Jalapeno. ![]() Ghost peppers from 2 containers and they're loading up again with flowers. ![]() This is a whole lotta pain, 7 Pot Primo's. ![]() Some red Shesheeto's for seeds. ![]()

You 2 guys have some really nice peppers here. Mine should be in this week and I'll post some pics. Beautiful corking on the red jalapenos Rajun.

I'm growing a few plants of Santaka, Yatsafusa and Takanotsume, and they all look alike ...all have peppers pointing to the sun (mirasol?) Haven't checked them against each other for heat, but they are hot when dried! I will have a pepper seed offer up soon, seed will be available if anyone is interested! If you like picking small hot chili peppers, in clumps of 5-6 in each handful... Scissors maybe helpful! They are prolific, but a pain to hand pick...
