Default Tricot Czech - August 29

Another one that was affected by cold weather in April, so it took time to ripen. But I loved this tomato, it is firm, not too juicy, perfect for cutting in half for a salad.

Cute dwarf plants with rugose foliage.

Default Salt and Pepper cucumber

Not a tomato, but I finally manage to snap a decent photo of these. Very nice cucumber, we love it.

Default Rubin 7 - August 30

I cut it too soon - I should have given it more time on the counter. I liked the taste, but the fruit was too firm. It is very meaty, and would be awesome in cooking.

Default Psamathe Potato Leaf - August 30

This is the one I have been stabilizing since 2009 from Purple Haze F1, and this year all the plants produce the same fruits that I was selecting for. Just like the Purple Haze, it has beautiful purple/black fruits about 1.5 oz average. Very good taste.

I also have an RL version of this tomato.

Default Alesha Popovich - August 30

For some reason I thought this tomato should be pink, but it looks like I was mistaken. It is certainly red, and a very nice one! Compact plants are loaded with fruit, ranging from 2 oz to 8 oz. Very nice balance flavor.

Default Cuor Di Bue - August 31

Irregularly shaped red hearts, many are doubles. Very nice!

Looks like the original commercial seeds I had (from 2002) are not pure, as I also got a plant that produced a smallish oblate pink fruit.

Default Jumbo Jim Orange - August 31

First fruit was not perfect, but it was very tasty anyway. I loved the firm flesh.

Default Jana - August 31

This is a pink sister of Lana, I have been selecting for a large pink beefsteak, and it looks like I am getting close. Very good flavor and texture, a beautiful tomato.

Just a few days later than Lana.

The original cross was made by Rob Gee in 2007, Brandywine X Carbon.

Default Kermit - September 1

This is a no-name pink oxheart grown by my husband's grandmother in the 70-80s. I named it Kermit. I think it can be a strain of Russian 'Bychye Serdtse' tomato. Very high yields, meaty flesh with little juice, very nice tomato.

I may have posted a picture earlier (it ripened on August 22), but I cannot seem to locate it now

Default Giant Oxheart - September 1

This is an ugly looking one - I think it realized too late that it should be a heart, so it started to grow this little heart at the bottom

indeed!
I think he looked at his younger brothers and sisters hanging on the vines and scratched his head thinking, "I should have been a heart too! Let me try harder..."

Default Aunt Ruby's German Green Cherry - September 2

This one is surely not as early or as prolific compared to most of the other cherry tomatoes. But the taste is great. It is a small version of Aunt Ruby's German Green which I adore.

The last picture is ARGGC with Pelican cherry.
