Some KARMApink action for everyone. The plant is very healthy, vigorous and filling in like gangbusters. I’m closely watching the first truss for blush. Also a leaf comparison between it and KBX and Brandywine Sudduth.

It has a far bigger leaf than the other 2, doesn't it?

It is the largest! A bit bigger than Brandywine Sudduth and KBX is in the middle.

Very good taste ladies. I think they would make an excellent jumbo cherry type for markets. Again... we really liked the taste and we ARE TOMATO SNOBS. LOL

That’s great Steve! I am so pleased that you enjoyed the first taste.
Marsha and I have both thought the flavour was excellent but it is very gratifying to hear that others think so too.
Thank you for posting!

My first KARMA Pink fully ripened today - 103 days from sowing (March 20th to July 1st) and 55 days from transplant (May 7th to July 1st).

It weighed 1.65 ounces (roughly 47 grams) and measured 1 5/8ths of an inch (4.1 cm) in diameter, which is just about the same width as a golf ball.

The cut fruit showed four locules, but a closer inspection actually showed a small fifth locule cavity. I found that to be interesting for such a small fruited variety.

Normally, I wouldn't comment on taste for few weeks as first fruit are typically less representative of the full flavor profile than mid-season fruit... but the preliminary taste was simply wonderful. And if it gets even better, as I would expect it to do, then it will be a heavenly treat!

I'll continue to post more photos and updates on the plant/fruit as the season progresses. Thanks to both Karen and Marsha for allowing me to trial KARMA Pink - it's been fun so far!

Both Karen and Marsha have been bringing this along wonderfully, along with the people growing it out, too! I have been quietly watching to see how it goes, so much work and great to read how well it is doing. Congratulations!

Soooooo, the apricot one? I'm a nag, sorry, LOl, but the shocker of that very yellow flesh and not a hint of give away in the skin is pretty cool and pretty, too.

Suzy, did you notice in my last photo of it that it's a yellow/pink bicolor now. Still very Apricot like, even in It's delicious taste. It's gorgeous. Thank you for the name, too. I will see if I can find the post # and edit this. Be right back.

Taste was unreal good, 9.5/10. So sweet.

Yes, it seems it is and still very pretty; we do eat with our eyes, too. So, when will it be released ??
