Man packing seeds and rubbing tomato seeds apart really can flare up the carpal tunnel! I’ve got about 80 packets of seeds packaged with a lot more still coming in from the garden.

Yes it can! I obsessively line up the wet seeds in rows of 10 so they're not touching. It eliminates the need to separate seeds once dried, plus I know how many packets there will be. But those little plastic bags make the hands ache.

Ha! This is my first year of "hurting hands." Too much typing or something this year.
I'm up to 390 seed packs - 27 different varieties. I saw someone mentioned the deadline for MMMM. When is it? Jeff |

A pill counter makes it much easier and also the bagging.

I have mostly commercial packs to send in as well as some homegrown stuff from a couple years ago.
I'm packing up: Paul Robeson, Speckled Roman, Chocolate Cherry, Red Siberian, Gardener's Delight, Italian Oxheart, Marglobe, Mortgage Lifter, Rutgers, Chadwick Cherry, Burpee's Long-Keeper, Glacier, Pink Brandywine, Cherokee Purple, Black Krim, Ace 55, Beefsteak, Golden Jubilee and Crimson Cushion. I also have commercial packs of: Supersweet 100 f1, Supremo f1 (determinate Roma type), Brandy Boy f1, Lizzano fi (micro dwarf cherry for hanging baskets), Sun Gold f1, and a pack of mixed Artisan Stripes (it has Pink Tiger, Green Tiger, and Blush in the pack). There are 10 seeds in a pack so I have enough for one person each. I have to go through my leftover pepper packs and type that list out. Ditto for the legumes.

Okay for the legumes I have Tiger eye (I like this bean alot, makes yummy refried beans), Kentucky Wonder Pole, Blue Lake Stringless Pole, Royal Burgundy Bush, Pencil Pod Bush, Progress 9 Peas, Dwarf Grey Sugar Peas, these are all leftover commercial seeds from years past. I tried to harvest seeds this year but the rain ruined most things I was growing for seed saving.

I have some lettuce, basil, flowers, and squashI'm sending as bonuses
Buttercrunch lettuce, Marvel of Four Seasons Butterhead, Salad Bowl, Oak Leaf Blend, a couple mesclan mixes, Italian and cinnamon basil. I have some pumpkins and squash seed like zucchini, galeux de esines, Cinderella pumpkin, jack be little pumpkin, and an unnamed white pumpkin. I have some pumpkins I can harvest the seeds from to share but no guarantees what will come of them because they all grew together.

Peppers: Leutschauer Paprika, Tabasco (hopefully), Pasilla Bajio, Thai Hot, Early Jalapeno, Habanero, Jalafuego f1 (big spicy jalapenos), Tangerine Dream, Yolo Wonder Bell, California Wonder Bell (red), Emerald Giant Bell, Maxibelle, Purple Beauty, Coral Belle, and Canary Bell.
I'm also going to send in seeds saved from Orange Lunchbox (Burpee's plant grown in my garden) and from Red, Yellow, Orange Yum Yum peppers (Gurney's also grown in my garden). These were f1's and also not bagged so crossing may have happened and results may vary. And if anyone wants some I can send Black Beauty and Italian Long Purple Eggplant. (Leftover commercial)

Oh dear. I just found another box of seeds.
I have a bunch of Livingston and Burpee hybrids to send in. More herbs, flowers like cosmos and marigolds, and a bunch of squash. Gah. This is what happens when I clean...I find more seeds!
