Thanks for posting pics as you go along. It is so helpful in giving ideas of what new ones I might want to try. I grew George Detsikas for the first time this summer and it was a winner. Will definitely include it again in 2016. Carbon is another favorite. You might have succeeded in talking me into trying Maglia Rose! Seems to be a big favorite of many growers.

Default Zena's Gift

One ripe and 1 I picked today at slight blush. These are mild, low acid, very meaty. This first one had puffiness when cut, but the next one feels heavier and less hollow. Very good fruit set in the high warm temps, RL, tall vines, fruit about 10 oz. this has a bit of sweetness but the overall meatyness will lend to sauce cooking very well. This would be very nice as dehydrated slices too, which I just might do.

Default Harvard Square

This us a really compact indet, RL with striped black fruit. The green shoulder goes away when ripe. This little plant has set about a dozen fruit so far, and its still going. I haven't tasted it yet. Shown- 1 ripe, one picked today at blush.

Default Dix Doights De Naples

Means: Ten Fingers of Naples. Compact bush with excellent fruit set, there are lots of lovely clusters of 3-4 on this plant. No sign of BER. Fresh taste is on the sweet side, very pleasant. This is a dry tomato bred for sauce.

Quit raining? Well, the torrential deluge has stopped, but daily showers, some heavy, are continuing. Most of my plants are making a small comeback, blosdoms forming, I hope their timing coincides with the next cold front, because we cant catch a break!
Happiest of Holidays to you Karen. Please post or email when the seeds arrive.

Default Lime Green Salad

Very productive little 2' determinate dwarf. Fruit from 3-6 oz. Taste was a 6.5 but it wasn't a fair trial because it's been raining lots. I think the later fruits are going to be an improvement.

Default General Lee F4

Lots of acid, complimenting lots of sweet. This one is just delicious. The flavor reminds me of Rebel Yell. PL vigorous plants are productive. Fruit from3-6 oz. Deep pink color. Saving the F5 seeds.
