Re: cocktail-sized sweet orange tomatoes:
My daughter noticed this from Johnny's: https://www.johnnyseeds.com/vegetabl...EaAmeOEALw_wcB We will see. She asked me to order and there are 4 seedlings soon ready to go outside to harden off. She will grow two in her MPLS garden, make roasted tomato sauces, and I will likely gobble my share of them right off the vine. Sent from my motorola edge (2022) using Tapatalk

Clementine doesn't get enough buzz. It is an excellent tomato.

Fred, any thoughts on how Clementine might do in the wet, humid summers of Georgia?

I grew Sungold the last few years and while my husband enjoyed snacking on them, I did not care for them. Last summer I was given a basket of salmon and yellow colored Honey Drop tomatoes by one of the other vendors at the farmer's market. I really like the salmon ones so I saved seeds and have two seedlings started, one of which will go in the garden in a few weeks.

I love the taste of Sungold, but find that it goes funky-tasting in mid summer so I no longer grow it.
There's a fantastic tasting tomato called Pink Princess which is the pink version of Honey Drop. Mine came from the MMMM swap and I grew it last year and LOVED it! I couldn't stop eating them ![]() |

I'm growing Pink Princess this year, thanks to the MMMM swap. Glad to hear this enthusiastic review. How productive is it in comparison to Sungold, and does it handle heat well? I have three seedlings almost ready to transplant, only planned to plant one of them but now I'm tempted to find a place for a second one.
