That tomato looks like a store bought tomato.

Araness and All,
Thanks for the info. I have sold a car to a real nice couple from Orange and was thinkin' I could offer to drive it to them if they could wait til' June. Then I cuda visited and attended SETTfest and had my bud Feldon feed me tom's and maybe show around. lol Heck, I gave them a great deal, but understandably, they'd like possesion of said vehicle sooner. They wanna get away from the kids and implied "thats why were buyin' a car with ONLY 2 seats". So now I'm just gonna tell them: "The deal is off if THEY don't make it to SETTfest and visit my cyber tomato friends" Rob They did say they could fit a good number of seedlings in the car on the trip back and get them to Suze for me tho. |

lol...I'll have to look around town for the car. Don't think we have another that red around. It's a very small town so shouldn't be hard to spot...lol you think they'll let me take it for a spin?

Was there ever any doubt?
The park is reserved. The tomatoes are growing. We're lined up with about 20 likely attendees. I would like to see more like 40, but we will take what we can get. I hope people don't take a "wait and see approach" and wait until next year to come. There is some experience in organizing events already, plus we got a LOT of advice from the other events like CHOPTAG, MAGTAG, Tomatopalooza, etc. This is being treated as a real tomato tasting event for growers and their friends. I know I am looking forward to meeting a lot of people and learning about the techniques that have worked for people in our sometimes challenging, sometimes perplexing growing conditions. I will be adding a Survey to the SETTFest.com website as well as perhaps a Quickpoll so we can get some real numbers on who is likely to attend. Last edited by feldon30; April 16, 2007 at 11:18 PM. |
