Worth, this has been a challenging spring. You got off to such a great start, when you do get that saw out, I know you will come up with some kind of solution for next year, just in case.

Btw, I don't know what a chigger is but I am looking it up now. I don't think we have those here. I will know in minutes.

Here are a few shots ot some on my plants.
The plants in a 1/2 buried one gallon container turned out to be a huge success.
The dwarf tomato plants are over six feet tall.
Maidens Fire are here as well as a really big orange Russian.
The bed with the back drop has plants getting close to ten feet spread out.
I haven't fertilized in months.

The Maidens Fire looks cool. I have Sky Reacher, which should look similar.

Your plants are growing like weeds.
Hopefully there are lots of mators hidden in them foliage.
You Orange heat tomato is like Dwarf Purple Hear in shape, not quite symmetrical.

Enjoy. !

Worth outstanding looking plants and tomatoes. I'm still weeks away from my first ripe one. Keep up the great work, I always enjoy your posts.

Thanks folks there for a while I thought they were all done for and then without doing anything they sprung back
Some plants did croak but I am starting to get fruit set again if I can keep the deer out.
I have lost several prized tomato to them.
The lack of more sun is also holding back production but I eat tomatoes every day so I am happy with it.
Tomorrow is salsa day a smalsa salsa.

Our local weather people keep saying it's going to be a partly cloudy day here. 5 hours of cloudy/sprinkly to 4 minutes of sun is not partly cloudy.

Worth, I know you can make your own chips for that salsa as well.

Nice looking garden Worth! The Maiden's Fire tomato looks really neat, how's the flavor--specifically the intensity of whatever flavor it has.

So far not outstanding but I have yet to eat a striped tomato I cared for that much and I have wanted to like them.
They all seem to have two flavors that clash.
But dont use me as the judge on them.

Yes I will.

Worth

AND a deer came through and topped a bunch of my pepper plants in another part of the garden.
