All I have is a sun gold plant and it is being neglected big time.
I don't even consider it a tomato.

Couple Of Observations :
Esterina (F2) seems to have bigger fruits than SG and BC. Nothing ripe yet but it looks that way.

Indigo Cherry Drops: Start with purple color. Probably it will get darker color.

Juliets: are, of course , larger grape shape. Bonnie sometimes call them "Mini Roma". But they grow in cluster shapes like most cherry/grapes. Fruits get smaller toward the tip of cluster. That is why I include it in cherry/grape category.

Black cherry is on the late side for a small-fruited type. Worth the wait, though.

Are the leaves looking more normal width for you lately?

Thanks Gore .
Yes, now the leaves are back to normal. I see some furly curly older leaf branches from old growth. I thought then that it looked like herbicide damage. But luckily it has corrected itself back to normal. The plant size is rival to Sungold.

BTW: I also planted one Chocolate Cherry to compare. But it is more than 6 weeks late. But coming along well.

The ones with an * you won't find online other than here at Tomatoville.

The above list are ones we have growing now. The Moms Big Fat grape and Medovaya Kaplya are growing in an RKN infested area of our garden, and probably will not live long enough to produce. I will be planting seeds of both for our fall garden that is located elsewhere. I usually only plant cherry tomatoes in our fall gardens, but this year, I'm going to try Rebel Yell too.
Which one do you like more, Sungold or sunsugar? Which one has better yield and taste?

21X-F2-1 This is one of DFollett's creations, grew in Fall - Excellent!!!, growing saved seed (F3) now but started seeds super late (March).

Brad's Atomic Grape - Tastes way better than it looks - Will definitely grow again. Mine do not get the reddish look shown on the pictures. Very prolific and not huge for a cherry plant.

Esterina - The BEST!!! Lives up to the hype.

Lizzano - Grew in Fall, determinate/semi-determinate so done, LOVED especially the small plant; tried growing saved seeds F2s but didn't match the F1s. Was far more determinate than the F1s. I didn't think it tasted as good either.

Maglia Rosa - Grew in fall, but determinate and done - plant pulled

Purple Bumble Bee - Haven't eaten too many; mine took a long time to ripen but seems very prolific. Excellent hang time on plant.

SunGold - Sowed in August; still going strong!

ETA: I forgot to add: Green Bee - this is the new release from Fred Hempel that has super long shelf life. Received the seeds super late in the season (March) but sacrificed a few seeds to try. Have one healthy plant with lots of flowers and small tomatoes.

Gardener - How do the F2 Esterina's compare to the F1s?
How would you compare sungold with esterina, both yield and taste wise?

My $.02 on sungold vs sunsugar.
Side by side off the vine, sungold is slightly preferred, sunsugar splits less and has a tougher skin.
Put them in a salad or cut them up, I'm not sure I could tell the difference.

UPDATE:
My Sungold, Black Cherry, Esterina (F2) keep pumping.
Esterina is almost a "Multi-flora" and is very vigorous.
My own "Tiger Grape" Is loaded and blushing.
Juliet and Stupice though not in cherry class but doing very well.
Disappointing: One of my Indigo Cherry Drops got disease and I zapped it. It is as if a disease magnet.

I will make a mini harvest of them soon and post pictures here soon.

I prefer Esterina. It is equally productive with larger tomatoes and much less splitting. I did notice that my SunGold plant (from August) in a Root Pouch has much less splitting than the SG in the Earthbox.

The 2 Esterina plants are in Root Pouches.

Having 2 Esterina plants provide way more tomatoes that you could possibly eat or give away.

I still will grow Esterina, SunGold, plus SunChocola, SunPeach in August.

Ideally, I would like to find a non-yellow Esterina-type plant. Hopefully the SunChocola and SunPeach will fit the bill.

Gardener - How does the F2 Esterina compare to the F1?
