Big Zacs are good tasting tomatoes! They are excellent slicers for sandwiches, but must be trimmed to fit.

The largest tomato I've ever grown was a 22 ounce Burpee's Big Girl (RIP

), in the mid or late 1980s.

The large pink and yellow/red tomatoes I grow are delicious and preferred by most of my family over Big Beef.

The biggest one that I have a picture of (1.7 lb). Seems small compared to all yours...
I had one near 2 a long time ago, but it was the only one on the plant. This one came from a plant loaded with big tomatoes.

Indeed. Big size more like suggests the plant is very healthy and therefore more likely good tasting (possibly a bit watered down flavour if you've grown it for size, but definitely no dry).

Two seasons ago, I had my "Belmonster" (Belmonte) come in at 3 pounds and 3 oz. The plant was completely untouched, un-pruned, and un-messed with. There were several other fruits on that plants that went above 2 pounds and several more that went above 1.5 pounds.

All of them tasted great.

These pictures are beautiful!

Last year I planted Porterhouse tomatoes--a bunch came in over 2#, with the biggest at 2lb 10oz. I was pretty excited; now I'm trying to trying to imagine one of those "little" two pounders next to a 5+ lb beast!

On my scale at home it weighed close to 4 lbs.

The problem also is that in a rainy summer many varieties will suck up that water and bulk up,so weights of specific varieties can and do weigh differently in different seasons.

And yes that Tidwell one was grown in a rainy season.
