Thank you SO much Judy!
My garden has flooded 4 times this year (and currently under 2 feet of water) so my harvest is still uncertain, but this is WAY cool!!!
I am going to continue growing this until it is stable.
What gets me the most is that I have NEVER EVER grown a bi-color on this property so "Emma" is just a freakish "sport" that popped up!
Are there any more fruits on your magical plant?

Be sure and keep plenty of seeds for yourself, before sending any back to me!

My Emma-RL has what looks to be golf ball sized red fruits on it, but the PL version is looking more like yours.

Oh my goodness -- hate to hear that about your garden being flooded! I hope all the plants make it through.

I have 1 one tomato on the vine. The 2nd one that would have matured was assaulted

by a bug and got a hole in it

I have it inside and hope that I will still be able to get some seed from it too. It was just beginning to ripen.

I have one more Emma PL plant -- the fruit is still green and so far, it's not anything like the first tomato plant. The fruits are more normal sized. I'm not sure if they are going to be bi-color or not. I'm keeping my eye on it and will stay in touch and let you know.

Reporting from Germany. Here are 3 Emma's picked today. The largest weighs in at 520 grams and I've got two more on the vine bigger still. I'll slice them in a day or two and post those pictures as well. Ami

Don, what all did you grow that year?

With so much variability there's an excellent chance that something is crossed... these could all be F2 instead of F1.

Is there a pic of the tomato you got the seeds from?

Don's daughter pulled a bicolor fruit off of an unknown plant . . . he did not get a pic of the original fruit and does not know which plant it came from (but thinks it might be Marianna's Peace at this point because of PL). . . also he did not have any bicolors growing in his garden.

I believe he did not get any more bicolors that year which suggests a mutation.

ps- though could a mutated plant get crossed as well? Interesting thought.

Will "Emma" seeds be available this year? I have a granddaughter named Emma and it would be perfect to have an Emma tomato plant for her.

no pict from the original fruit.
I grew about 60 varieties that year, but I have never grown a bi-color.

Magnolias4ever had the BEST Emma fruit this year but I have not been able to reach her since she posted the picts!

I will share seeds from that one if I ever reach her... if not I have a few here.

Here are some pictures of my Emma tomatoes.

I picked these on Saturday and ate one for lunch today. It was pretty good. I saved seeds.

Don, did you take any pictures of your Emma tomatoes from this year? I'm curious to see what you got.

I have picts of my plants under 6 feet of flood water

I have my very first one to make it to the breaker stage sitting on my counter now.

I'll take a pict this week.... looks a lot like yours.

I was just REALLY hoping to get some seeds back from Judy... I hope she is ok!

Does anyone have any saved seeds from this project?

Magnoliasforever (Judy I think) had some AWESOME fruits and was supposed to send me some seeds, but she simply vanished after posting pictures.
