This might not belong in this thread but I will add it anyway. As some of you know, I have posted about possible TYLCV problems and have definitely had to deal with whiteflies. Some mentioned last year that I may have some sort of deficiency and that it may not be the virus at all. I ended up pulling 5 plants with the worst symptoms.
This year I started seeing some of the same beginning symptoms and figured it was the virus showing up again.
I used the new TT formula both last year and this. Last year I supplemented with Miracle Gro for tomatoes.
This year I started with the TT the first couple of fertilizer applications, and three weeks ago decided to try an iron supplement with other plant micro nutrients by Fertilome.
It has Sulphur, zinc, copper and manganese and is supposed to correct micro nutrient deficiencies.
My plants have improved overall and are still setting fruit which I dont think they would do if they were infected with the virus. At least I am hopeful.
I am now wondering if the lack of micronutrients was my problem all along? I am in no way badmouthing the TT product, just curious concerning my situation.
