How can you not have favorites? Do you like them all?

Pretty much so.
Copia is the only tomato I have ever spit out.
That is why I don't say much on growing suggestions people ask.
What I will do is suggest tomatoes that do well in my area.
Just like children you will have some that you like better but you love them all and none should be your favorite.

I know for a fact I was my parents favorite child out of 5 kids.
Not because I was the youngest but because I was a constant source of intertainment.
My brothers felt the same way about me.
I remember the time we had a bunch of people from church over one night.
I went to the chicken coupe caught some chickens and turned them loose in the house.
Just the other day I hid behind a corner jumped out at my supervisors and scared the devil out of them.
These are the same people everyone else is scared to even talk too.

The reason behind the Random Pictures Thread.

It is for therapy for myself.

Before my wife passed away I would bring her food to the table all prettied up.
I did this for 33 years.
When she stopped eating I would try to feed her oil or something just to get her to live just a little bit longer.
I did it so she would know I loved her and she wasn't a burden.
So she would know she was still part of my life.
Now I present this food to you for all of you to enjoy.

When I went to work this last time I had to take up some canned goods to share with my friends.
I needed to protect them from breaking in checked baggage.
I looked around and the only thing I could find was the washed kitty cat blanket she had on her when she died with our cat Smokey on top of her.
When I got to work I used this blanket with the kitty cats on it on my bed at work, then I brought it home.
Then this last spring something happened to me that I will post in the Your 2 cents section later.
I needed an outlet, something to help me deal with it.
And deal with it I did, so much so that it has helped me understand who I am and how strong I or anyone else can be.
To the shock and happiness of some and the disappointment of others I came back stronger than ever.
It is about time I told everyone about it.
I found out who my true friends were.
Stay tuned.

Worth,

A lot of people including myself enjoy the random pics thread. So sorry about the loss of your wife.

I think gardening is some kind of therapy for a lot of people. Will be looking for your post in 2cents.

Strawberry Haagen-Daas will always remind me of my grandma. She got a lot of it from me in her last days in the nursing home. Strawberry was her favorite ice cream flavor. I thought of Haagen-Daas as the best ice cream, so that's what she got. I would feed it to her with the little wooden paddle that comes with the single-serve containers. She'd burp, and we would laugh about it.

Years ago a women I know who was widowed when her 4 daughters were quite young said people always told her how strong and brave she was, to which she always replied "she never had a choice in the matter." Thankfully, our instinct for self preservation is pretty strong, otherwise I'm convinced sometimes we would just curl up in a corner and die from the pain.
I love seeing you share so much of yourself Worth.

Well I tried to curl up and die but the sun came out and the birds started chirping and Smokey wanted out.
Your right what other choice do we have in the matter.

Today I was able to get what a wanted at a lower cost.
When people tell me, "but it sounds like work".
I reply yes it is work, what better way is there to spend the day.

Its a little after five I'm having a beer and here are the fruits of my labor so far.
They day isn't over yet.

That looks good Worth! I am sure you will enjoy the results of your labor and we will too with when you post the pics of your dishes that you cook.
