It looks like 24d damage to me as well. Yes they will pull through.

Any flowers that were on the plants, eventually fell off. In retrospect, I should have pinched those. Most are flowering again, (not the hearts). Some setting fruit, but still early for me.

I would say definitely 2, 4d damage, too. I believe 2, 4d can volatilize on a hot day as well as the spray travel on the wind.

Default Update

More than half the plants are growing very fast now. It is "frankengrowth", but they do not seem inclined to die just yet.
More than I ever wanted.to know about tomato herbicide damage.
"Cobra heads" check
Fasciation check
Strapulation check
Stem nodules. Check
Parallel veination. Check

So far no stem splitting, which I think is a sign of THE END.

A strange result of my manic search to predict the fate of my plants, I discovered that in turkey and that part of the world they intentionally spray their tomatoes with 24d weekly to increase yield or some nonsense.
Google tomato 24d ppm
Still hanging on, hope they start setting fruit again soon.

I'm glad you're seeing improvement. If you have time, it'd be interesting to see photos
of their recovery.

Too early to call it recovery yet.
When it gets hot they look very bad.
But they are still growing.
I'll post photos tomorrow or saturday.

They really look good at this stage! I think you'll have a good harvest from them. When this situation happened to me, plants that looked like yours
made a very good recovery.

That is great, mine are growing but fruit set has been slow. Only a few in the past month. All the fruit set before the damage are growing fine. Only a few plants setting fruit after, with the majority dropping blossoms.
