For me it's a mid-sized Gregori's Altai. But to be honest, the plant had (together with another G. A. and two Brandywine Sudduth) a two week head start over all the other plants and was already much larger than those at plant out.

"Tiny Tim" has the first sighted fruit from a seed-grown plant. I picked up a "Red Robin" from a farmers' market that had the first ripe fruit.

Italian Heirloom is the first to ripen in our mid-Atlantic garden. Tie for
second will be Indian Stripe and Stump of the World (kind of surprized
to see a SOTW blushing already). Darlene

Chello, Yamal and Cyril's Choice- they were planted super early and kept in a greenhouse, though. I haven't had a ripe fruit from any of the others that were sown at a more "normal" date and transplanted outdoors in early May.

It's going to be a Ludmilla's Pink Heart from Dr. Male's seed offer...it's about the size of a softball, and is destined for the season's first batch of salsa; a place of honor in my home.

1 small Sungold on 6/3 and then a medium sized Stupice on 6/10.

This has been the latest I've ever planted tomatoes due to late frosts and a late hard freeze. Therefore nothing has ripened...yet! There are 4 green tomatoes on my Cowlick Brandywine Two about tennis ball size and one about golf ball size. The other about the size of a quarter. Others just full of flowers but I haven't seen any tomatoes on them yet.
Therefore, I would assume my Cowlick's will be the first to produce ripe tomatoes baring any disasters. Since eliminating cherries (Sun-Gold, Black Cherry), years ago, The first ripening have usually been Lancaster County Pink, Liz Birt, Cowlick's Brandywine, or Barlow Jap. Seems to change year after year even when all are started and transplanted on the same day.
Enjoy!

A Burpees "Patio" tomato that was just a bit larger than a golf ball.

Lucky you! I'm salivating just thinking about homade salsa! Not even a ripe cherry yet in my garden.

I feel your pain! I'm in the same boat. Nothing ripe yet, not even cherries. Though, yesterday I spotted a Sprite fruit that is definitely starting to change color, so hopefully soon.

I got irrationally excited when I saw it; my other half thinks I'm nuts.

I tell you though, this tomato growing thing requires some extreme patience. To see all those green fruit just hanging there, getting bigger and bigger... but you just can't quite eat them yet!

My plants range from four to six feet tall.
My first tomato that is still growing and hopefully will continue to a very heavy weight is on one of three Mega Marv plants.
I only grow one tomato per plant at a time to maximize growth of the fruit.

Currently out of eighteen plants I have growing for competition size fruits I have five that are at various stages of development.

Eva Purple Ball but I didn't plant all my plants at the same time. I had a Carbon earlier but I think it had a small tomato on it in my basement under lights so that doesn't count.
