I think we could still have frost, but hopefully not. It was down to 3c last night, with a wind chill factor of -6, plenty cold enough, but no snow.

I brought the tubers fromTe Ngae Lodge in Rotorua, through TradeMe. They seem to grow quite a wide selection. The Te Ngae is probably something they named themselves, supposed to be simelar to Kowiniwini. I got a few Urenika and Pink Fir potatoes while on a university field trip to Chantal Organics in Napier a few months back, most people would have eaten their free sample, I of course had to hold back and let them sprout

Have you heard of or grown a potato called Nooksack?
