Thanks Karen, I will tell her I posted this here. Her sun room is a sight to behold when all her amaryllis are in bloom! This was the hugest plant last year, and next time I want her to set it on the floor and stand beside it for a picture.

Thanks to all for your replies! I looked at them again this morning. 3 of the 4 bulbs are already pushing up a bloom, so I am going to let them go till this winter. Don't wanna try to divide them while they're blooming. Is that right?

Here they bloom around Easter. Here's proof. This is a stand of them and I've already cut several stalks and used them in bouquets. I divide them when they are dormant, not when they are sending up shoots after winter.
