My mom says it has replaced Rutgers as her favorite tomato and I like that it can be used as a slicer or a paste type.
I did not grow Wes. Will be looking for your advice on that one.

I grew few hearts that I liked. Berkeley Tie-Dye Heart I liked for good taste and good production, and heavy/dense fruits. New this year Grightmire's Pride (pink), surprisingly good taste, production so far good as well. The second one is smaller fruits. Most likely will grow again. Got GP from Marsha's seeds offer this year. Thank you Marsha. Growing first time Orange Russian 117. That one was planted much later and just started to set.

This is picture of the Claude Brown’s Y. Giant sliced. It is great for salad, sandwich or salsa. Not typical "yellow mild" tomato. Not too acidic neither.
If you were to taste it blindfolded probably would not figure that to be a yellow type. Old tomato taste. Beautiful too. This is my second year growing it.
Last year I wonted to compare it to KBX (Kellogg's Breakfast PL), but KBX got infected and fruits were not as good. It was not fair to compare taste. This year I am choosing Claude Brown’s Y. Giant. For me it is better.

I am getting into hot peppers water, so to speak. I am not growing any yet. Not sure whether I will or not. But I am reading about them.
This was definitely an interesting reading:

gosh darnoodley. What do you do with them all. I thought 20 plants was going to be just right and i am pulling 10 to 15lbs every other day. I do have a random question. If i have plants a ft tall right now in SEPA will i see fruit by first frost? Granted they are all mystery tomatoes, probably from my compost.

Jonnyhat, we give away a lot of tomatoes and I make sauce. Meatballs and spaghetti made with homemade sauce are much better. Some of my self seeded tomatoes (cherries) about a foot tall at this time. They usually start later and produce until frost. I do not stake them. Last year I had couple of plants that went in very late. They finally loaded at about frost time. I had 25 pounds of green tomatoes ripening inside until December.

I am growing many new varieties, the once that really stand out are: Biyskaya Roza, Girl Girl's Weird Thing, Fred Limbaugh, Grightmire's Pride (Heart), Elgin Pink and Blackberry. I have few more among new that were planted late and have not produced ripe fruit yet.

The favorite repeating varieties I really like: Grandfather Ashlock, Cherokee Chocolate, Sara, JD's Special C-Tex and Rosella Purple Dwarf. They are early enough, produce well and taste is more consistent than most.

Ella, I have seeds for Biyskaya Roza but did not grow it out this year. I want your opinion on it because it's on my maybe for next year list. Also the Claude Brown's Y.Giant tomato, did you get the seeds from Marsha? It looks delish. I'm trying to find a yellow/orange/gold tomato to rival Aunt Gertie's Gold but with more production and less disease and frustration, if you know what I mean, lol!

Thanks for the Claude Brown’s Y. Giant pics and review Ella. I like the looks of it, very meaty. I may have to give it a whirl next year.

Sharon, Biyskaya Roza and Grandfather Ashlock were the first two to produce for me this year. BR has its own taste. Excellent balanced taste. BTW so does GA.
Here is weights of tomatoes picked until now:
Biyskaya Roza (p, RL)
3.7, 4.6, 4, 3.2, 7.9, 5.9, 4.9, 6.9, 10.3, 6, 26.1(6) = 83.5 ounces
The taste was pretty consistent. It is on my next year grow list.

I got seeds for Claude Brown's Y.Giant from Maria/blueribbontomatoes. I have saved some seeds from last year, but they were not bagged. Not sure about them. And this variety is not an yearly one for me. That was first tomato picked, about 80 days.

thanks Ella. I love looking at all the tomato pictures! Gives me hope, lol! Now the squirrels are having their way with some of my tomatoes so I am not happy. I think BR will be on my 2016 grow list for sure. Keep those photos coming. I can't wait to share some of mine!

Squirrels have made plenty of damage to my cucumbers this year. Besides eating my first few they took two almost grown size Japanese long (Suyo) cucumbers and destroyed the plant itself. They kept on digging in my cucumber bed, hiding peanuts in it. Some people are feeding wild animals.

First picture is of Black Cherry, Carbon Copy and Snow White.
The two containers are Carbon Copy fruits, picked from a single plant today (47 ounces). My son did not do a good job. He have left plenty ripe once on. He is 6'3'' and does not like to pick anything too low.

Labradors2/Linda, thank you for the seeds of CC, it is super productive tomato.
Linzelu100, thank you for the seeds of SW. It tastes like a candy. So far the plant is taller than my son by a foot. It set many fruits as well.

The other tomato plants were asking for restraining order against this two aggressively growing neighbors.
