Eh... I was sure Tormato was joking. (I assume.) He's an ENABLER and no way he would refuse the opportunity to overwhelm an addict, esp our sweet Carrie.

Aw, you're so sweet! I definitely think I qualify as an addict, LOL! Also it must be contagious, because I think Abbi(my 8 year old) is, too. I guess it's my own fault, but with such yummy results at harvest time!

How about purple and brown tomatoes(namely Rosella Purple and Tasmanian Chocolate)? Which categories would they fit in?

You have a few choices that they would fit in: Beefsteak, Black, Dwarf Project or Determinate/Dwarf.

ALittleSalt.. thank you for the sponsorship! I'm sorry it's took me so long to say thanks. I've been very busy with work and family this past week. I hope to have time to work on the list this weekend. I may need help with posting it. It's the first time I've participated in a group swap like this. I'm alos participating in a group swap on FB for the first time this year where I will be helping with mailing materials and postage as my contribution. I so enjoyed reading about an 8 year olds enthusiasm for gardening and growing seeds. My papa turned this now country woman into a country girl with a love for what came from the earth even earlier than the age of 8. Many happy spring and summer days were spent following him in the garden. I even recall the 1 time I thought I was going to be in HUGE trouble because I turned over the tiller. I was too little and short to be tilling ground but I was determined to try. Papa taught me several lessons there. When I finally got the courage to go tell him I had done it he just laughed, came and set the tiller back upright, cranked it, and said, "well, are you going to till some more or are you done?" I tilled more. Bless all of you that are sponsoring the young lady!

If there was a heart tomato that could be in any of the other categories, it likely would stay in the Heart category. There are probably a few more examples I'll address in the future. |

Your wish list has nothing to do with me sponsoring you. If anyone is confused on this part - it would be better for Tormato to explain. What I am sponsoring you both for is the Categories list = you get around ten different varieties from any you choose or even all (if you want) of the categories below: Pepper Categories: Ornamental Sweet = no heat Hot Tomato Categories: Black When Ripe BWR Blue When Ripe BWR Cherry tomatoes Green When Ripe GWR Heat Tolerant tomatoes Pink When Ripe PWR Red When Ripe RWR Striped tomatoes Yellow/Gold/Orange/Bi-color/Tri-color/White Category I hope this helps. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to help you. Last edited by AlittleSalt; August 13, 2016 at 02:35 PM. Reason: Correction |

HappyGardener, I think you are right. I had forgotten that. I should edit that part.

I have some 4 year old seeds of asian veggies that I will probably never get to grow out. Can I send these in? I probably won't have time to try and germinate so they might be duds...
