Because the google doc may not work for everyone, I'll likely have to set up an alternative for some participants.

The one thing that didn't work well in past swaps was looking for wish lists in the main MMMM thread, the Wanted forum MMMM thread, my PM's, and my emails.

Since there doesn't appear to be a months long delay in registering and then joining T'ville (can anyone confirm this?), I'll likely set up the alternate parallel-universe Bizarro-world MMMM wish list thread in the Wanted forum, shortly.

Tormato,

Posts are not editable after 72 hours (I think). I'd received a very nasty PM from someone, about posting changes to my wish list in the last swap. Since there are still months before the swap deadline, is that a system (like Google Doc) that would allow changes to personal wish list?

The google doc is fully editable by all. So, if you are going to edit a variety that others are also requesting, remember the number (after the variety) you're starting with. You don't want to edit out another participants wish.

That's what was a bit concerning at first, since anyone can access the doc .. But, it says that Google saves all edits, so nothing can be irrevocably lost.

I have talked to her about the MMMM over the last month or so, and she really wants to participate. I wanted to make sure and check if that would be ok, since I was planning to participate myself. I can split the seeds I am sending in with her so she can join the categories. If that would be a problem(2 people participating from same household), that is fine, I'll just let her join. I was so tickled to see how excited she was!

No, it's not OK. I'm giving you the boot. Your 8 year old will be the sole participant, and you'll be delegated to be her helper for the MMMM.

Since she's interested in tomato breeding, I'm sure others here can help in coming up with an ustable "variety" (F2, F3, etc...) or three, that she can work on stabilizing and naming.

I did read the list and found that some I have a hundred or so extra seeds for, but this isn't the spoiler thread.

Ok, she will be the participant and I will just help. She said she'd share some seeds with me

I know she would love that! She talks about crossing tomatoes, and naming new varieties, a lot!
