They will catch up quick enough by the looks of them. Whats the sturdy dwarf in the front of that pic.

The dwarf is one of the PL Sneezy ones. They are all setting fruit, but by the looks of things I can see any big blooms anywher so I am supposing no big fruit.

But I'm not entirely sure yet.

Yeah, my Grumpys are only small plants so far, but then nothing is growing well outside yet. New Big Dwarf has small flowers so it doesn't always follow that you will get small fruit. Somethings gotta give here eh.

NBD has small flowers... I feel much better about that. I grew it last season and don't recall.

I did a close check this arvo and one RL Sneezy appears to have biger flowers.

What I also noticed was some excellent fruitset and a lone nice-sized Cherokee Purple

My CP is coming along slowly and has about 10 fruit set. Cherokee Green beside it is doing much better.

Sprayed, tied up limbs, picked about... sick of waiting. This is like tomato torture.

Worse, was 33C today and 38C forecast tomorrow. So the flowers are a dropping.

As for Brandywine Sudduth and Prudens Purple, et al, seems they missed the opportunity to set fruit before summer.

And my saved Red Brandywine is setting large cherry trusses.

Thank heavens for sauvignon plonk. Now if only that would grow on vines. Actually...

Actually, I exaggerate.

I think my Red Brandywine is a-ok again.

If I recall it produces bunches of 3-4 medium reds.

It's just the truss layout I don't recall.

Time will tell.

On the boat. Filed two stories. Floating in a bay. Fish jumping. Saw a rabbit on the shore. Cottontail bobbing. Lap-lap of water. Books to read. Found a vintage bottle of red wine. Rabbits have bred. Now seeing double. Got the remote wireless internet happening. Thinking about my patch. Good fruitset all over. Over and out.

Mmmmhh...boat, sun, water. That would be nice.

Some more fruit set - but slow at the moment with the heat. But the few fruit that have set are growing nicely. 8)

Been picking off lots of green fruit with BER. Hard to keep the water up to them with the weather warming up. Opalka is very prone to it but I have also picked off 4 Druzba and a Kellogs Breakfast. I suppose I should let them ripen a bit and give them to the chooks but I dont want them robbing nutrients from the other fruit.
Cherokee Purple is ripening its first fruit but it is SMALL. Kellogs breakfast the same. I suspect the people that took over the soil yard have done something to their soil mix that is not good. Bugger.
