Your mega flower bloomed a week ago. Is there any sign of a fruit yet? I hope that it took...

Yes the same bloom that I am talking about. It is moving real slowly.
No signs of fruit forming yet. Things move very slowly in our cool PNW.
I will post another picture soon.

Your plant looks great! It is nice and healthy.

I can't help you with your picture so let's just say that you are planting it out on its side...

My Daniel Burson is loaded with fruit. I ended up plucking off the mega fruit since I have so many regular fruit on the plant. I am having a problem with my tomatoes. All potato leaf are doing great as well as my dwarf plants. My dozen or so indeterminate regular leaf have something going on and I am much discouraged. The new growth is twisted and curled. I pulled the two that looked the worst which was OR 117 and Paul Robeson. I just do not get it. Everything planted in same soil and fertilized same. My peppers have exploded.....I have never had so many peppers this early on. Today we are having charred padron peppers as an appetizer and stuffed cubanelles as entree, from the garden.

I will post when I eat the first DB, I can hardly wait!

Ok, I take no credit for rotating it! Wow! Gardeneer - I use an iPhone - can you walk me thru the steps of how to do that? I couldn't figure it out. Thanks so much.
We've had rain all day yesterday and looks like today and most of the week will be the same. Bummer! I finally get them planted, late, and now it decides to rain endlessly!

Remember these a few weeks ago? They're growing and the temps have been in the 90's

Here's today, sorry about the picture quality.

I have a mega bloom on each plant and both plants are showing the ribbon thing going on with the stalk.

My DB's mega bloom is done pollinating , along with bunch of regular ones.

The plant itself is bushy and compact. Actually that is the way I like it. I let it all the suckers/laterals that it wants to grow. This will an experiment how to make an indet act like a det. I am doing it on few other varieties too.

Now I would say that he is a happy camper!

I have noticed this stem thing on a few peoples pictures. I wonder if it is a trait of this variety. I'll have to keep watching and see how many of them there are.

Thanks for sharing.

I love the eyelashes! Wow, what I wouldn't do for those!
Patti, are you referring to the fact that it's like two stems merged into one? My DB is definitely like that, but it's not the only one. I'm going to take a photo of mine now that it's planted. One of my DB's is very large, the other one starting to catch up.
Al - thanks!
The weather has been miserable - rainy and cold. I just hope my plants can handle it. I haven't protected them, so keeping my fingers crossed.
