Exactly 7 days after planting the peppers are appearing as 3 of the 9 have come up! what a nice start to the growing season. In the next 2 weeks I'll start some Better Boy, Jet Star & Tiny Tim tomatoes.

When I first looked at your photos, I thought I was looking at large containers with dirt, large rocks, and sticks in it. As the photos progressed, I could see they are smaller containers with fairly normal potting or germinating mixture. The rocks became small particles of moisture retention material. Interesting how close up's can distort the view.
