New Orange Pepper
First look at the 2018 seeds at Menards.
Burpee has redesigned their seed packaging. A few new ones, and as usual they have given new names to old ones to confuse us. The $4 price is fiction; Menards is always discounted 40 percent. What do you think of this new offering? I searched quite a few sites but it seems unique to Burpee. Any guesses as to parentage? Last edited by greenthumbomaha; January 10, 2018 at 12:13 AM. |

It could be a strain of Golden Greek.

That's the one, thank you for the link. I'm undecided. I really wanted something that tastes like the jar version for salads.
Ohio Heirloom Seeds is offering the original strain of the Greek version. Sounds like a good pepper to try for pickling. I need a good recipe. Panera used to have an awesome pepperoncini but it was discontinued when the went clean. - Lisa |

I started a six pack of them 2 days ago. I'll select the best one to grow out.
