The upcoming entertainment in Dallas will be the City vs. the State. Tx Leg is already grappling with rogue municipalities on bathroom bills and rideshare regulation, and doesn't seem to have a consensus. But I'm sure that plenty of noise will be made before the end of the session. Local police spokescritters are already complaining about how this makes the police' job harder. (uhhh.. What??)

Anybody is growing Bacco ?
I got seeds from PMC and got 4 seedlings going strong.
They now look like REAL tobacco plants.
How many pound of bacco will I get/harvest from each plant ?
On Marijuana, thank you but I am not interested.
To me it is just a WEED.

grows like weeds.
the trick is drying/curing which I never mastered.
I used to grow it right next to tomato plants.
So much for not touching tomato plants with tobacco on your fingers.

I knew a guy in college who was from Amsterdam and had brought some of his personal stash to school with him. It was the best stuff I ever smoked, tasted like cherries. Everyone loved it, and people were always asking him to roll another one for them. He ran out and had to have more mailed to him. If I could get tobacco that good, I might still smoke it.

This has been on the news for the past few days - In Dallas County, people can have up to 4 ounces without going to jail ... as long as there is no other criminal offence. But the person has to live in Dallas county with no intent of distributing. I do understand what I'm seeing on the local news. It is a change.

If it were legal to grow in Texas, I would think about growing it. I live with an extremely painful nerve disease, and maybe it could help? The fact that it is not legal to grow here is why I won't grow it now. My reasoning about marijuana has always been about the fact that it is illegal here in Texas. I don't want my wife, children, and grandchildren visiting me in prison. It doesn't matter how much pain it might relieve - it's just not worth it.
I would for the the canabodiol oil for my pain relief, but like you we can't get it here legally. So, we both suffer along with anyone else needing the oil. Governer Greg Abbot approved the oil for sufferer's of seizure's, why not for pain inflicted sufferer's I don't know. Sheesh, at least could have gone all the way for us.

I do wish I could grow it for those who would benefit from pain relief. Maybe it would help me to? I don't know? It is illegal, and I chose to be soul-mate, grandfather, father, and mentor. I cant grow something illegally.

Back in the 70's a kid got caught growing pot by his mother.
He told his mother it was for a rope making project in school.
Ok son.

Depends on what variety it is, one of them grows 5-6 foot tall with a lot of leaves.

Back in the 70's my mom found a bag in my coat.
What is this she said with the open bag up to her nose?
I said what do you think it is.
Is it what I think it is?
Yes it is, it is weed.
I'm going to tell your father she said.
If you do he will have a heart attack and die we dont need that.
I took the bag from her and went to the bathroom to take my bath.
She came in with a rolling paper and wanted me to roll one so she could see what a joint looked like.
I said it looks just like your rolled cigarettes.
Well roll one anyway.
I said if I do we are going out back and smoke it.
No we aren't.
Yes we are.
Your nuts.

I rolled one up and we went out back and I told her to smoke it.
She took a puff and blew it out without inhaling.
BS you are going to smoke the thing.
Hold it in for awhile.
She smoked the whole joint and went back in the house and fell on the couch.
You dont fall on the furniture in our house.
Later the old man got up to the smell of popcorn cooking.

My mom was ripped and had the munchies.
She was about 54 at the time and I was 16 or 17.
From then on it was our dirty little secret we kept from the old goat.
Then I introduced her to all of her other friends she had no idea smoked weed. They welcomed her to the fold and we had a celebratory joint to pass around.
Yes Worth got his mother ((((HOOKED))))) on marijuana.

Had a relative that was a landlord in the 60's and a tenant asked if he could have a garden.
The guy grew pot and got caught. The cops didn't take the plants they just plowed them under.Theoretically, somebody could have come back that night to dig them up before they rotted.
