Folks, I received 2 envelopes today that had blank unmarked baggies. One didn't have even a written list, so now I will have to search the pms, and hope I can find this person by location, since he also did not include a username.
I have blank baggies, the idea of sending the baggies marked is that I know what you want without having to research a million pms, and that it saves me some of the work if I don't have to also mark the baggies, then stuff them and wrap with protective padding. Thanks for your cooperation.

Wow, thank you soooo much Marsha!!!! Got my seeds today.

Tempted to add a few more to my grow list even though I am about at capacity!!

Your support of the tomato community isn't overlooked. One day when I am in a position to send you some bulk seeds to keep this going..... I will absolutely do so!

So glad to hear they arrived safe and sound. Believe it or not, some I send seeds to never tell me they got them! ( hint!)

Also glad to hear that you will be paying it forward, that makes me smile.

Thank you!

Cheers

What. apologizing for all your work and giving forward!?

...i ended up not needing any more seeds after going through my pack-rat box. Now i'm getting 95% germination in my first start tray from those i saved. Then i ordered seeds from Artisan....and sent off to Jess for GirlGirl.

A question.

I used the 'search' for seed request/exchange/sase offer for etiquette. And read your requirements...then later you mentioned p-towels that need to fit inside coin envelopes, (select-a-size)

And a few have sent baggies without a request list...so newbies might be confused.
(i do know a few blogs have linked to here to go and get free seeds)
*lerkers can also be learners and how i ended up learning here a few years ago before joining...at least no-one here is annoyed by learners asking basic newbie questions like other sites....

I did share seeds 20 yrs ago from the back pages of OrganicGardening. My first seeds were from LeJardin 25cent xerox printout catalog. Lots of seeds for a ten dollar bill sent in then started saving my own.
Very generous seed sharing here but i need a visual.

This is going on too long darn...for ten small packs would you not need a larger SASE envelop? any who, here is a visual...and is the p-towel for seed protection?
Am i overthinking this ...I just used a folded regular envelop inside another regular envelop for a one-variety request.

I just need a larger letter type envelope. I fill the marked/labeled baggies, labeling means I don't need a list, tape them all down on one end of a paper towel after filled, then fold the baggies and towel over twice so the baggies are covered by toweling, then into the large letter envelope it all goes. I do not want paper towel inside the baggies, please. Ten coin envelopes or baggies fits very well. The sender doesn't have to worry about the paper toweling, I am happy to take care of that, juts the labeled baggies, envelopes, their username, and the SASE is all I need to make us both happy.
