Sorry, Kelli. I know I tried to downsize myself. It is all Marsha's fault. She had that amazing seeds offer, I could not resist.
As you know Camochef had being raving about Bear Creek for years, so when AKmark offered some seeds I was in heaven.
Apparently all that a tomato addict needs is few seeds of new tomato variety. I guess webster dictionary has to change definition of downsize from "eliminate" to "add".

Ella,

I stand corrected, one of the two KB plants has exploded with fruit and is now the winner with the amount of fruit set in my garden. The other one would probably be doing equally well but I pruned it early on and it has less than half the amount. It's got a ways to go with ripening but I can't wait to eat one!

i will let you know about the rose, the first moscovic was underwhelming, super watery but i expected that.

i noticed a big tomato still green was really drooping, i tried to trellis and its "partner" came off. anything I can do with this (save seeds, hope it will ripen etc.)

oh and my first Brandywine is starting to blush... will be kayaking down the Brandywine tomorrow on my day off in celebration

How do you like the Margaret curtain and carbon copy? I've got both in the garden, new to me. Looks like the first carbon copy should be blushing soon, maybe the Margaret curtain too.

I have tried different cherry tomatoes over the years. My son and my husband both convinced that Black Cherry is the best. Well, first Carbon Copy they had was not too impressive to them, not sweet enough. But now it is really good and so far had being more productive than BC. It was raining a lot and BC is known to crack. CC has not cracked at all. Size wise CC fruits are smaller than BC. Both plants are super vigorous.
I have Snow White growing as well. That plant went in really late. It is taller than me now another one that matches CC and BC in vigor. Have set many fruits, hopefully will be tasting it soon.

Oh Ella! I'm getting jealous of all those ripe fruit! I've just been getting dwarf cherries so far. Everything is really loading up, and several have green fruit that is about the right size. They are taunting me! The two non-cherries with the most on them are George Detsikas Italian Red and Amethyst Jewel. Amazing productivity, just nothing ripe yet. I shouldn't complain, they have just been in ground for about 45 days. Sigh.

RobinB, both Amethyst Jewel and George Detsikas Italian Red are looking very interesting. I understand your building anticipation. Great production is always a big plus. Few more days...
We have being getting ripe tomatoes much earlier this year. That cold green house is paying off. Last year I was posting pictures of few ripe tomatoes on July 19, this year it is 3 weeks sooner. More work for my whole family. My husband and my son constructed it and took it down a month later. No it was not the most beautiful structure (like Worth makes) but it did what it had to do. I would probably talk them into making that temporary construction again next year.

Thank you, Worth. I am happy. Would be happier if it did not rain like creasy here. Last few years weather had being different than what it was for sometimes now. More diseases and bugs.
I should stop complaining like an old lady. At what age should I consider myself an old lady? Maybe I am.
