Or you can plant hot and sweet peppers close together if you make 15 gallons of salsa a year (and other dishes). There are 40 pepper plants in the attached picture. They grow fine and produce a lot, but like I say I get a lot of accidental crosses.

3 in the chinense, 3 different types and the annuums there are 4 Burpee chile verde.
just trying it out. so far 1 chinense is losinf out to his 2 brothers, but all are podding. |

promix and perlite, grew some lettuce in the smart pots also, grow my tomatoes in a raised bed.
those 20 gallon smart pots are hard to beat. |
