Default Pot Size for Eggplant V Peppers

I have some 8 gal pots and some 4 gal pots.

Which one, eggplant or sweet pepper as in red cheese, Nu Mex and so on, would you give the bigger pot for the bigger crop?

(Hot peppers getting smaller pots).

Thankyou.

Grub-I would put the peppers in the smaller pots-but I grew eggplant this past summer in 5 gallon pots and they did great. Of course, they have to be fed and watered more often in a smaller pot than in a bigger one.
