Never heard that version. Thanks for posting it. I have the Bobby Darrin version in my playlist. |

I'm thinking this thread should have about 40 posts by the time I get around to addressing the rules next week. How did we drift off to Mack the Knife in only a day? I'll have to keep track of the "important" post numbers from now 'til December. Post #1..., post #
My guess is it will be about 400 posts with about 4 relevant ones. |

OKay, I thought it was okay to joke as Gary himself was, but will not do so in this thread anymoreif it is only for serious informative posts re the swap.

Gotcha. No chatter. Serious business. No interfering with Gary's thread. Keep out. Because Gary has no sense of humor.
I'm so very sorry for offending you. I am done.

Tormato, I understand. At first, I thought the best thing was to not reply. I do get carried away at saving seeds to share with others, and then I saw Imp's reply, and now Patti's. We should have let you post the rules before we posted. I am guilty about getting excited, and the tomato seed shark thing is a lot of fun.

I'll soon be starting a new thread "2017 MMMM Hybrids" for responses to those varieties.

The deadline, for packages to arrive here, is November 10th.
For procrastinators, it's November 1st. |

One question, please. Is this swap for American members only? I can't send American stamps, but US dollars to cover the postage.

No clara, I have been allowed to participate, even without any dollars - Tormato has been very generous and even paid the higher postage. (he deserves some extra chocolate for that!)
Perhaps you can also bribe him with some German-made delicacy? |

Basically anyone's welcome, although there might be a few countries with seed restrictions.
Postage (one way from USA) went way up for Canadian ($9+ US) and other foreign countries ($13+ US) last year. Since (I think) there won't be that many Europeans in the swap, I can send tomato and pepper seeds in a "greeting card" and envelope. I can put about 70 varieties into a greeting card with 1 Global Forever stamp (~$1.15? US), and if necessary can mail more than 1 greeting card. I'll address this further when I get around to posting the rules. |

Thanks for your replies, Narnian G. and Tormato! I am mainly interested in tomatoes, a few hot peppers and some herbs. Bigger seeds like those from peas, beans etc. only increase the postage too much - and I don't grow them, lack of space in my garden.

Where can I find the rules? Do the seeds I donate have to be saved, or can I send commercial seed I no longer want?
