Dark Star hybrid
Just wondering if anyone has grown the hybrid Dark Star. The descriptions of the variety sounds good, but don't they all.

I've been wondering about that one, also. I noticed that Seeds 'n Such carries it, so not too expensive to try it. "...But don't they all.".

"But don't they all"! For fun, I've been reading catalog descriptions to my nongardening partner. The only problem is that I start to think, sure, I can fit that one in.
I put in an order to Seeds'n'Such last year mostly to get Purple Boy F1, which I'd tasted from a neighbor's garden the year before and liked (without knowing it was a hybrid). And then I ended up finding another dozen or so varieties I wanted to try. Looks like the same thing might happen this year: I went looking for one thing and ended up finding a bunch more. |
