neoguy Tomatovillian™ Join Date: May 2007 Location: NE Ohio Posts: 610	Freshwater Seaweed? I've tried to find the answer on the web without success. So, I turn to the experts here. Does freshwater seaweed offer similar garden benefits as saltwater seaweed I live near one of the Great Lakes and I thought about getting some to make tea. I don't know if it's legal to gather it up, but if the benefits are similar to saltwater seaweed, I would take the chance.
